By accessing or using Spendary ("the Service"), operated by an independent developer based in Slovakia ("we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Spendary is a mobile expense tracking application that allows you to scan receipts, upload invoices, manually enter expenses, and organize your spending. The Service uses AI-powered technology to extract and categorize expense items from receipts. Features and availability may vary by subscription plan.

3. Account and Registration

To use certain features, you must sign in with an account (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities that occur under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when registering.

4. Subscription and Payment

Some features may require a paid subscription (Premium or Premium Plus). By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as displayed at the time of purchase. Subscription fees are charged in advance and may be subject to change with notice. Refunds are handled according to the platform policies (e.g., Google Play) through which you purchased.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Use the Service to harm, harass, or abuse others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service (e.g., receipts, invoices). By uploading content, you grant Spendary a limited license to process, store, and analyze such content solely for the purpose of providing the expense tracking service.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content (excluding user-generated content), is owned by Spendary and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI extraction and categorization are provided for convenience and may not always be accurate. Users are responsible for reviewing extracted data before relying on it for financial, accounting, or tax purposes.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spendary shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Slovakia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
